RealWorld Paint presents two options: you can either get started from scratch and use the application’s editing functions to create a new raster or a new vector image; or you can open an existing image and use the application’s editing functions to enhance its looks. The choice is up to you. But mind you, whatever you choose, you will have very easy access to lots of handy editing functions.

RealWorld Paint is available as an MSI installer and as a portable version. No matter which one you choose, they will work with your Windows-powered PC. And speaking about that, it must be mentioned here that RealWorld Paint provides support for all Windows versions from Windows 2000 all the way up to Windows 8.

Four buttons are presented on the left hand side of the application’s interface:
Create – new raster image, new vector image, image from clipboard, capture desktop.
Open – select a folder, pick an image, open said image.
Recent – the images you recently opened.
Online – tutorials, plug-ins, news, and more.

By default, RealWorld Paint presents the Online button when you launch the application. This default behavior can be changed from the Options menu, the Main Window tab, the Start page section.

Lots of useful editing functions are offered by RealWorld Paint: cut, copy, paste image selection; crop out a section; draw using a brush or a pencil; add custom text; remove red eyes; add raster or vector layer; put a watermark on the image; adjust the color levels; add an effect or filter; and more. When you’re done you can save your work as a JPEG, PNG, BMP or another supported format (lots of formats are supported).

RealWorld Paint can be used freely for personal and commercial purposes. Cons:
None that I could think of.

Pros

RealWorld Paint is available as an installer and as a portable version. The interface is very easy to use; you can specify what button is selected on the interface when you launch the application. Lots of useful editing functions are offered by RealWorld Paint for free (consider making a donation).

Cons

ider making a donation if you find this image editing tool useful. Easily access lots of useful editing functions and create a new image or enhance an existing one. Such functionality is nicely offered by RealWorld Paint.
